Teach Soap

Hi all. I'm preparing for a fair in October (4th) and let's just say - it sure is easy to decide on scents and designs for christmas/thanksgiving/halloween/fall/winter themes with my loaf soaps. I just happen to be Jewish and think it might be nice to design something with blues/sliver and with my tags I can put a Jewish Star or Menorah or something that would identify it as such. I think it would definately be noticed if I had a few available and I actually think I would sell them. I may even try to make a loaf that looks like a menorah (straight lines of soap embedded so when cut it gives you the impression it is one). I've also thought about how I can manipulate some soap into a long jewish star and embed it into the loaf. Either way I'm wondering what fragrance might be nice to offer. Any thoughts?

Maybe one day those fragrance companies will come up with "potato latkes" - there is a fragrance called "monkey farts" - why not "potato latkes"...

how about Frankenscence and Myrhh that seems to be from that region of the world. Also fig, or how about a coffee or tea fragrance? That all reminds me of the mid east.

There are lots of food scents from cookies to carrot cake and more . Or what about a clean fresh scent to go with your blue and silver , a clean laundry or ocean scent or an outdoorsy scent .

Since we're talking about Hannukah....is there anything "kosher" that has to happen to products you put in your soap?
