Teach Soap

I just pulled out my latest batch with the shredded sea moss soap. The scent didn't hold & I have no more sea moss FO left, any ideas what I can use for my plain color batch, so when I add the shredded sea moss to this it will be complimentary with the very faint sea moss scent?? Does this makes sense at all?

How about a citrus of some sort? Or maybe some Rosemary EO for a spa like bar?

Oh nice, I have Rosemary EO. What if I put Rosemary & peppermint in the batch, then add the sea moss shreds? hmmm. I might try that.

thanks soapbuddy, i would have never thought about rosemary. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'll take pics of the batch i pulled out today. doesn't have much scent, but will make nice soap anyway.

I've not had a problem with Seamoss fading out. Strange. My first thought was something "lemony". Lemon Verbena or maybe a Lemon Myrtle or Litsea.

Oh it's very strong. I'm using some sea moss soap that didn't turn out so great (I shredded those bars) & incorporated them into a plain non-scented batch and gelled that batch. That's what I'm talking about when I said the scent didn't hold the second time around. So I'm looking for something to scent the fresh batch so that I can blend in the sea moss shreds.
