Has anyone used CPOP method with Yuzu FO. It has a flashpoint of 145 degrees, will it burn off?

I've used it with no problem for CPOP. I used 0.7 oz. PPO.

For those who CPOP, do citrus FO/EO's tend to lift off quicker using this method? If you have noticed

SpottedCat, you and I must be on the same schedule. I just did my 2nd ever attempt at CPOP this weekend and I used Yuzu from BB. How 'bout that?

I can still smell it but it's not as strong as I'd hoped it would be. I used it .8 oz ppo. I'm hoping it'll come back a little during the cure.

zeo, I think we are on the same page. The YuZu was my second cpop. I cut it today and it has a softer scent than most of my others, but it's okay. The first cpop I did had the same effect, but that one seems to be getting a little stronger scent now that it has cured for about a week.

I don't do the CPOP method, but I have used Yuzu (in a gelled CP batch). It faded a bit. Several other Brambleberry "citrus-y" fragrances that I've had very good luck with are "Energy" and "Jewelled Citrus". Both held up quite well in CP and were still nice after cure.

My YuZu made it thru the cpop method pretty well. Has a good scent. However with that said, I should confess that when everyone was talking about .7oz PPO. I thought that meant per pound of soap, so I add my oil weights and the lye water to get a total, then added .7oz per to that total. I guess I'm using too much, I'll have to cut that back a bit.

It's 0.7 oz. per PPO not including your water. It's per pound of oils.
