Teach Soap

I got this scent from Natures Garden and it smells nothing like the name to me. Its not bad, but it smells more like raspberry lemonade. I smell no vanilla. Before I try a bunch from different companies, can anyone tell me of one that smells like it has vanilla? TY

I haven't tried NG's BRV. I have tried WSP's, BCN's and BB's. WSP and BCN smell very similar to me - more fruity. The BB version is more vanilla/creamy. I like both a lot. The BB version sticks well and soaps well. It does slightly discolor.

I have had nothing but good luck with BB fragrances. I have this fragrance on my must-do or-die soon list. I am wanting mine to come out more blackberry than vanilla. I am also wanting the colors to be a creamy beige that I am not really going to be picky about at all on the final shade outcome, as long as it isn't burnt-crust looking. I just really want future batches to be consistent so I am assuming good notetaking will help here. The second color I would like to be a deep purple, almost black, like a blackberry. My question is what to use due to the discoloration of the fragrance. My business expertise is in wire jewelry and I am in the learning stage of soaping. I am putting forth a guess of the white dioxide (titanium?) I am hoping my memory is correct. Anyway, advice is appreciated and I am thrilled someone brought this up.

I use the black raspberry vanilla from Nature's Garden and it is a dream to use. No discoloration and lots of time to do swirls. I use it 3% and it sticks like glue.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Peaks BRV is heavenly. Not v. vanilla, though, if that is what you are looking for. Just a clean, fruity not-too sweet scent that is easy to work with and sticks like heck. I blend it w/BBs champagne (maybe the best blender on earth but strong, so add a bit at time if you are doubtful) about 80/20, it is a great combo. My second favorite BRV is from soapsupplies.net, also a great sticker, but sweeter, again add BB Champagne.

Edited to add: no A or D w/either of these, I had plently of time to swirl.
