Teach Soap

Shaving Mugs are different, usually deeper and wider than your average coffee mug. You can find mugs that will work though if you look. I have seen some nice ones that hold the brush on the side. When I find a good link, I'll post it here.

I just found a site www.classicshaving.com that has some examples. I guess you could find some coffee mugs big enough. (these days they are bigger, eh?)

I have some stainless steel shaving bowls if that would work for you.

Here's a thought; what about using the wide (& not too tall) soup mugs, like the kind I've seen at Dollar Tree or a discount store?

I found these little while bowls at walmart that are about 4 inches across and 2 1/2 inches deep. I think they will work and best part is, they were only .88 cents! I'm going to give it a try anyway.

Sounds good and the price is right!

If you don't mind me chiming in on the mugs.

I'm a guy and shave in the shower with shaving soap & brush. One of the biggest criteria for me is that the mug is not porcelain. Mine is rubber, wide at the top and narrower at the bottom. If you want I can send you a email with the photo of the one I use and my setup. I didn't make it....I purchased it at a tobacco shop (of all places). One other thing is that the soap fits snugly on the bottom of the mug. If it doesn't, water gets underneath the soap and makes it mushy. Just my 2 cents.
