Teach Soap

Last week I made some lotion bars and I promptly gave one to my mom to try out. She has been using it several times a day and keeps it on her computer desk. Today she told me that she thinks that her arms look better and they definately feel better than they have in a long time. Bear in mind that my mom is 67 but her arms look like they are about 90 due to sun damage and very thin skin that tears if you look at it wrong. She has so many scars from just bumping into things or working in the garden. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy to know that something I made actually made her feel and look better.

So what are some of the best compliments you guys have gotten?

I know, I never see the soap I give her after I hand it over.

My husband took some to his boss and now they are requesting more....I told husband, " No more gifts, they have to pay for them, my unemployment will run out and we will need the cash." LOL

My favorite compliment I ever got was from a woman I shipped to for her daughter's birthday party, I made up a pedicure set for twelve girls for her sleep over. It had birthday cake scented bath bombs, and a whipped sugar scrubs and my souflee cream for feet all in sample sizes. The mom called me and said her daughter wanted to talk to me. She got on the phone and told me all about her party but her favorite thing was doing the pedis with my stuff! Then the mom came on and said the stuff was the most amazing thing she's ever used! She just placed another order for twenty mustache soaps and bath bombs for her other child's birthday party! I love happy customers!

My best compliment actually came from a child as well. It was at a market and a little girl came over to look at my booth. She was looking at one of my soaps very intently & then would switch and look at one of my lip balms. She just kept going between the two, eyeing them up so seriously. Eventually her mother came over and told her she needed to hurry up. So after a deep sigh, the little girl picked the soap.
As she was paying, the mother told me that the little girl had come to my table the month before, but didn't have any money at the time. So the little girl saved up for a month and did extra chores to earn money to buy something from me.
I was so flattered, so I threw in the lip balm she'd been eyeballing for free. The little girl was so happy & told me she loved the way my soap smelled.
