Oh, and I meant to ask about the 3D tree mold, any recommendations for those type of molds? Hard oils, gel, CPOP, max sodium lactate, anything like that? First time 3D silicone mold user!

Does the mold have a slit down the side? I only use my 3D molds for M&P, but all mine have a slit which makes it easy to get them out.

Hrm. Might be worth asking if it's meant to be a slit on either one or both sides. It's normally a small slit, about 1/3rd of the total mold height. Allows you to pull the edges apart and break the air seal in the mold. You could try with M&P first to see how hard it is to unmold without a slit... should then also give you an idea how hard you need your soap to be.

Good plan. I might check with Amanda at Lovin Soap blog too, and see what she recommends as far as recipe and temperatures, since she has been doing those classes and such on making silicone molds.

Glad the package arrived Laura! See what I mean about how speedy they are? I got my packages from China faster than I get them from, uh, where ever BB is? I still suck at US topography :oops:

They must use some kind of ultra speedy snails to carry their mail! LOL :lol:

Haha, that package actually shipped on July 4th so...17 days. BB usually takes 7 days, depending on what day of the week it ships. They actually shipped my last order out two days quicker than usual, and I was really happy! Guess they were in such a hurry and that is why they forgot my Buttercream & Snickerdoodle. :cry:
