Teach Soap

Okay, so I've made a few posts here with questions, to which I get all kinds of helpful answers for which I'm thankful and which I make careful note of. With so many other people trying to get their questions answered, I feel bad about responding to these suggestions I receive and thus bumping my own thread back up to the top and knocking others down. I do respond when I have a "response" of some sort for a suggestion someone makes, but so far I'm resisting the urge to plainly thank people for their help in most cases. I hate being rude, so I'm not sure which is more off putting, hogging the top of the thread to thank people, or not thanking them at all?

I know I'm generalizing here, but most people appreciate the acknowledgement of assistance.

As far as bumping threads, the next person to post on a different topic will bump you down anyway, so I wouldn't sweat that at all.

I think most of us read all of the threads marked as new or containing new posts, so don't worry about bumping posts! I always try to thank everyone for help, I'm sure they know I'm thankful anyhow, but I just have to say it!
