Teach Soap

Even in shopping, which is AWESOME! So long as I ignore the poor abused credit card.

1st There was the need to restock nearly everything soap related in the house about 4 weeks ago. Like Xmas all week as the packages arrived!

2nd Was the trips to Ikea and finally realising the dream of setting up a proper soaping area in the house. Who doesn't love a completely new look? That was awesome!!

And now, 3rd!



Hi, I'm a Mac.
And I'm a PC....

A NEW COMPUTER!!! Ok, not something I am super happy about having to fork out so much money for, but who doesn't love a new PC?

I learned that computer repair technicians is just nerd speak for used car salesman. And they both speak "rip off". I had my current PC looked at 6 months ago as it was slow, crunching, etc. They said they fixed it. They so didn't. So after waiting nearly 7 minutes for a page to load last night, I cracked it and finally caved to buying a Mac.

I wanted a Mac years ago but my now ex talked me out of it. Well, HA! I'm single now so I can shack up with who ever I want. And the Mac guy is WAY cuter!

Once I finish transferring everything over that I need and am comfortable I don't need the PC beside me, it's going to be popped aside as a back up / storage / just in case machine. The Mac also doesn't have a tower, so how cool to be clearing up that much room!

But that's it. NO MORE SPENDING!! That's my three things done. All expensive. All cringe worthy when I look at the total price of the receipt. But all needed, and all loved very, very much!

I am smiling for you. So that independance to get what you really wanted, the Mac, why can't we as women stick to our guns and go for what we want vs having to listen to the other half choose for us? As my lady friends at work would say "its time to grow some"! Let us know how much you love 'him'.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Congrats on the new computer. I'm considering a cheap Windows laptop, just so I can run Soap Maker. Yeah, I know I can do a dual boot or an emulator (I'm a sysadmin, or was until my daughter was born), but I just don't want to spend the time setting up and fooling around with a new piece of software, and maybe dealing with the issues and upgrades and everything else. I think I'm becoming a computer muggle...

Congrats on your Mac! I thought about getting one, but I have older programs that don't work well with it, including my soapmaker software.

Thanks all I'm loving it so far. I can't even hear it when it's on. Like NOT A SOUND!!

I have a media center for my movie addiction and that's a Windows PC so I will install the soap maker software on that as I only really access it when I'm fiddling with recipe's and such. Once I have what I want to work with I print it out.
