Well, the baseboards are off and the linoleum is gone! We have to do some repair to the sub-floor as the door apparently leaks/leaked and there is some rot. Not much though! Our plans have switched to Saturday for finishing up the floor removal and at least starting the new floor installation! Taking one of my nephews to A C Moore tomorrow for some shopping hehe :D

That little coat of fresh white paint on the trim REALLY brightened the room! It was so dinghy when I started to apply the white, I realized it was almost grey! :o :shock:

Now it looks nice and fresh and bright!

I love white trim...except where the dogs rub on it going in and out doors, and the top of the doorframe where a 16 yr old boy likes to pretend he's doing pull up, and the handrails, and the stair risers, and the baseboards where they're constantly being kicked, and around the doorknobs and door jambs, etc... Black would be much easier! :roll:

The workshop will be classified dog free! Who wants fur in their soap? LOL :lol: I don't know if I should reuse the baseboards we pulled off, or get some new ones.

The hair in the soap actually was on purpose! As in the soap maker had added cut hair into the soap batter! Nasty!!! Needless to say, when my Mom went back later they were no longer selling the soap.

I have so much evny for your workshop. cant wait to find a bigger house with 4 bedrooms in our area, one will be for a workshop like yours. you're so lucky. and you got a good hubby too I bet. mine just gives me money for my soap stuff..
