Hi, does anyone have the recipe or measurements to add salt to the lye water? I read somewhere that the salt can help make the bar longer lasting as well as lots of lather, but I do not know how this is done. Anyone have a clue??? thanks so much I am trying to get some made today, soooo excited!!!

1 teaspoon of salt per pound of oils added to the lye water as soon as the lye is dissolved. 8)

thanks so much!!! will this still be good on the lather? or will the salt make it not lather as well?

that amount shouldn't affect the lather.
