Well I did my soap demo for our homeschool pioneer day with RTCP. It ended up being rainy and we did get to be inside. It went really well.

All the kids, and even the moms were interesting. Here are some pictures.

I love this idea!

There's a fair here that always has a Pioneer Village each year. They usually have stations where people can wash their hands with homemade "pioneer soap" and they also offer candle dipping for a small fee. I've always loved it! And even remember as a kid being fascinated with the process of how to make candles and soaps. :)

Linda, the only thing about making soap at the farmers market is that you would also have to have someone there to sell for you while you are occupied with the soapmaking process...
