Edie's Escentials

DH thinks it just looks mispelled.

I thought it was a cool play on the words essentials and scent.

What say you?

If you don't like it do you have any other suggestions?

I will be selling MP soaps and bath and body products.

What is your niche market? I would think people would misspell it and get someone else when they search for you. There is already Escentials out there. Have you goggled any names to see what comes up?

I'm sorry, but I agree with your husband.

I don't want to offend anyone here, but purposely misspelled business names annoy me. When I go to type in a business website from memory, I almost always type it in the correctly spelled way. Of course then it doesn't work, so I give up and go look at something else. I have better things to do with my time & money then track down businesses. Could you imagine if Yankee Candle had called themselves, Yankee Kandle?

Like Irena asked, what's your niche market? Who do you want to appeal to? Is your line classy, country, humorous, rustic, etc?

I agree with Genny. I don't want to spend a lot of time searching for a name or trying to remember how it was spelled.

As someone who has been spelling challanged all her life, even I had to question that word "escentials". It looked wrong to me.. and of course it was. There are many that will think you are just not bright enough to know the difference and that could carry over to what they think about your soaps. I like the name Edie's Essentials, but also agree with soapbuddy. Are you going to be selling on the internet or just locally. And get to know your market. Does the name match your soaps? There is so much to think about.
