I have been searching on/off for quite some time to find a reasonable digital scale that had more then one numeric digit to the right of the decimal point. Finally! I found one that I think fits the need, and is in a price range that I can afford. I am posting this for any others that are looking for the same kind of scale that I was looking for.

OM goodness, a scale that doesnt turn itself off unless you want it to! I LOVE it! Thank you for sharing this! I have a good scale but it turns off when it decides its time and I am a slow poke in my old age! My old scale that was so beloved, gave up the ghost a year or so ago and I had to go with what I could find. So this will be on my list for next month's purchases for sure! Thank you again!

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I have the same one, though mine does shut off automatically after I think 3 minutes...there is a button on the back with no label so maybe thats what you can use to make it stay on. I ordered it on amazon and at the time it was $40 with free shipping =)

Some scales are programmable to shut off after a longer period of time. I did that, following the instructions that came with the book.

Yea, that would work too Irena, but mine doesnt have that. I am stuck with their preset time. Which seems to be getting shorter and shorter,

I have a KD7000. I was able to find online how to make it stay on longer since it's plugged in and I don't use batteries.
