We found out at our second show that people really do buy more from us when they have a non-cash option. I was wondering out of the folks that took them regularly did they notice the same (we do have a minimum purchase of $10 when using a card) and what (approximately) percentage of their customers do use their cards? Just curious...

I've found people will buy more when they can use their card, since they arent worried about running out of cash for those cash only vendors. Almost every single artist I've seen uses the square dongle. I do too and love it!

Whats a square dongle??? Id like to take credit cards but want to find the most cost effective way for my small company to do that.

70% of our sales are credit cards, 20% debit cards and the remaining cash sales. We do not ask for minimum purchases, best imo to build the cost of offering this convenience into your product pricing.

I read about this option a long time ago on PSU (powersellersunite.com) and ordered it. I have not yet had the chance to use it, but think once I am done healing, will do a test charge on my card to get familiar with it. For those that have it and used it, any quirks we should be aware of?

Hi...new to this forum but loving all the great advice I've read so far!

Has anyone who uses this had customers question the security of using a card reader on a phone? My husband was wondering about that before he upgrades his phone to a compatible model.
