Teach Soap

I used to not come here very often because I was more involved in a larger forum. However, the mods on that forum are jerks and they like to ban people for voicing their opinions. Its stupid and I just wanted to say that I like this forum because it stays pretty much to soap and the people are nicer. When the conversation does stray, I don't have to worry about a mod deleting my post. Check out this site if you want a taste of what I mean... http://soaperland.com/

I'll 2nd that a real nice bunch of folk at Teach soap. So thank you for a great forum and some great members that are always willing to help each other out. I know how hard it is to mod on a forum but we have some of the best doing the job here I think..
I personally say well away from supersite forums
with a over large membership as the close knit spirit is lost and it all gets so lost and impersonal, that you just become oh thing'y that only makes that soap what's his/her name

I agree. I haven't been to any larger forums about soap making but once I found this one, I don't feel the need to. This is a great group of people willing to help one another. Doesn't get much better than that if you ask me.

Hear, hear! I love this forum. I'm a member of alot of forums, but this is the only one I come to daily...Some of the other forums I just post in once in a while to stick in people's throat because of their attitudes (ie, if you don't agree with them, you are wrong no matter what)

You know, David, I have been looking at those molds as a Christmas gift to my hubby--you really like them? Pros and cons, please! (yeah, I know it's quite a while til Christmas, but on limited incomes you have to start early)

I think they offer good value for your cash and a well proven product The most important qualities of a good soap mold are the durability of materials and the strength of the joints.

Molds that have rigid plastic liners and pieces that interlock to make individual bars are pricey but worth their weight in gold. After unmolding the plastic separators pop out easily reducing the time when manually cutting the soap bars and a great wooden mold will last for decades.

Full customer service from a company that care about there products and will from my personal experience email you back quite quickly if needed Amber is a Star.

I think though you would have to order sometime in November to get this item for Christmas though as they are always sold out and that must say it all...
