My scale died today, so I ordered a new one from BrambleBerry tonight. It's so ironic, since I have back ups for just about everything but a scale. I need to make more soap, but I will have to wait til this one gets here.

Soapbuddy do you have a Macy's close by? There have MS kitchen scales. I purchased one recently for a backup to my good scale. Just today I did a CP and compared the 38 dollar scale to my professional scale from lye to oils. Well for a traveling scale and for an in a pinch scale I would recommend it very accurate for the price! Just a thought good luck.

I'm sure that Anne Maries' is a good quality work horse scale. The one I was suggesting was just for emergencies soapbuddy! I certainly wasn't trying to put a damper on a BB sale!

Well good luck then. The ms scale from Macy's would have helped in a pinch like yours is all. Hope your new BB scale arrives today. Professional scales are a must for sure!

I have a back up scale but I would not be happy to use it for soap. I keep it on a table behind my computer and use it to weigh packages before shipping.
