Hey there. I bough a Mac last year when my HP quit working on me. When I had my HP, I used Quicken (I think) for my record keeping. Well, it doesn't run on a mac (atleast the free version doesn't) and I don't have the money to spend on the one that does. So my question is, if you use a mac, what program do you use for record keeping (Sales, Taxes, Expenses, etc). TIA.

Hi MAC buddy,

I recently did the same switch and am loving it. I did not know that quicken will not work on my mac. I typed in "free accounting software for MAC" and it came up with some links that I will end up looking into. http://mac.sofotex.com/Business_Software/Accounting/ this one in particular looked like there was a lot of free software downloads for mac.

Thank you. I will look into as well. For now, I have set up a spreadsheet in Open Office but I suck at spreadsheets.

quicken has online software you should look into:

you can also use quick books online:

online basic is only 9.95 / per month. not sure if it's robust enough for you, but it's worth it to look into.
