I figured why not!?

Any feedback on how the shop looks or is set up would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to have what I have available up on my shop before the weekend gets busy. Am also working on some more professional looking banners/logos.

I'm not an Etsy member so pardon me if I mess up on terminology. Your shop banner is nice!

I love your theme and the way you've tied it together."Pawcrafted." "Pawmade goodness." And the straw-beary soap. Very catchy! I love your avatar with the bear claw, too.

I would drop "hopefully" from before "purchase" in the third sentence on the main shop page. It sounds too tentative. If you believe in your product then it's best to sound like you do, IMHO. May I suggest running your text through a spell and grammar check, as well? It's always tough to do the original writing, much easier to see mistakes later and edit so don't take it personally. I do the same thing. All zee time.

You make some very nice soap, but share my lack of photography skills. IMO, your soaps could be better photographed and showcased. The straw-beary lemonade isn't badly showcased, but the Zangutang, which is different and cool could be set up much more to it's advantage.

You have great descriptions! I wondered how "Zangutang" came about. You have fun, fresh and interesting descriptions! A real plus!

May I suggest that you put your state after Hollister? Unless I look closely at your avatar, I don't know where you're located. It looks like "Hollister" is a hyperlink that might tell me more, but Etsy prompts me to join when I click on it so I don't know if it does. Tell me where you're located, that is.

I agree about taking hopefully out of that sentence. Have some confidence!! You've already had your first sale. CONGRATS!! I think your soaps look great and the descriptions really got my attention. If anything I would just work on the pictures. I didn't realize how hard it is to really capture the "look" of the soap until this weekend. Goodluck!!

Yeah. It's hard to get good pictures. My sister's digi-cam is sort of hit or miss. I guess I'll just have to take a ton of pics of each soap.

I will work on these details!

Cubbles-
Natural light helps - so pick a good time during the day to take the photos. And the use of an ott-lite can also assist. You can buy a small one at a crafts store like Michals. After taking so many photos you'll get better and better at it and can take fewer ones per shoot.
