Teach Soap

Good day all,
I am writin g from my own personal experience and would therefore like to warn anyone who may fall into the same trap.
I ordered soap supplies from an online store in Alpharetta Georgia called 'Crabapple Soap Factory' aka ' Soapmakers Garden' and paid by credit card. An order notification came to my e-mail address almost immediately with a 'customer-support' e-mail address. Time has gone by and every attempt to contact these people has failed. There is no such e-mail address. The physical address has also changed and thanks to the South African Telkom services I have now traced them to a new address and phone number.
On an American website called 'RippedOff' complaints similar to mine have been lodged since 2006 - if only I had done my homework.

I'm so sorry that has happened to you. If it is a recent transaction, my experience is that contacting your credit card company within 30 days (I think it's 30) you can get the charge dropped. They have you fill out some paperwork to dispute the charge, but since they also like to be apprised of these scams, they make getting charges dropped pretty simple when it's an outright scam. Sorry to hear that happened to you Carolann, thanks for the heads up on this rip off artist. I agree, contact your credit card compan ASAP! I have had similar experiences with this, not with soapmaking thank goodness, but when I contacted my credit card company they took care of it for me.

I am sorry this happened to you , as others have said you should be able get your money back through your credit card .Thank you for the warning.

Grrr! Don't you love to hate the world wide web. What caught my eye was name. My daughter plays basketball in Crabapple. It's actually a really nice area.
