One of the many questions that seem to appear again and again in this forum and the Soap Queen Blog, is how to take professional looking photos of our products.
I was actually under the impression that the road to success was to hire a professional photographer, or at least have one in the family!
Reading a very interesting two part interview with Anne Marie and Lisa, the owner of Arcadia Aromatics on the April 15, 2008 blog (http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html ), Lisa mentions a great tutorial and how-to article on "The Storque" on Etsy, where they lead you to the following instructable http://www.instructables.com/id/Costles ... I'm going to build mine this week, so hopefully I'll be posting photos of my soaps next week!

Scroll down to find the 'Photography' section and they have tips for how to use your camera and how to use photo editing programs as well.

I just love that page - all of their marketing ideas are great too!
