So, I'm a proud dog mama, and I have an injured baby - I could use a little mojo for him.

You will not believe what he did - he was trying to follow my car when I ran to the grocery store. He was locked in the house, all doors shut, so he went to the second floor and got out through a bedroom window - then jumped off the roof. :shock:

He didn't break anything, which is a miracle, because he could have been badly injured. He's about 100 pounds, which is WAY too big to be jumping like that! I cane home and found the neighbors taking care of him, and rushed him to the ER vet. He's okay, but has a badly sprained ankle and is still in pain and not used to walking with the cast yet. My poor big baby. :cry:

Ouch! That poor baby! I'm so glad to hear he's ok. You have some awesome neighbors! I bet they got lots of free soap and stuff from the magic_hands store!

the scary part, hvrba, is that the window was closed - he knows how to open sliding doors with his nose, so he opened it and jumped out right through the screen. He went over a desk to get to the window, and moved a board that was blocking it before opening it.

we are the proud owners of a new large metal crate. i don't think there's any other way!

Wow. Smart dog. Doesn't seem like it since he jumped off the roof but he is pretty smart! We have a large metal crate too. But ours is so our 14 week bulldog doesn't chew our house apart. Well, I hope he feels better soon.

Ohhh, poor baby ! I'm glad that he is going to be OK!! Keep up posted on his antics!

I have 4 doggies and one (my little toy Aussie boy who weighs all of 10 pounds) gets into more trouble than you could believe! :shock:

he ate the back of the crate.

we are replacing that crate wall and getting anxiety meds. for everyone, i think.

once he heals we are going to see about getting another dog - the behaviorist at the vet's office said it might help him because he wouldn't be alone, but with a friend.

Pooooor puppy!!! I hope he heals quickly and the anxiety meds help everyone:-)

We just lost our 12 year old Molly to lymphoma last weekend. What I would give to hear her bark again.
