Hello all! I was accepted into an annual 3-day juried festival Labor Day wkend and am very excited...and anxious. In addition to the arts/crafts area, there'll be rides, games, food, music, etc. I haven't been before but it's held in a suburb of my city, so very close. The average attendance is around 100K over the course of the festival. Since I was accepted last week, I've been researching how much to bring. The general advice seems to be approx 1% of the expected attendance, 1000 items? That's a LOT.
I also make other b&b products like lotion, lip balm, etc. Was thinking of bringing approx 2 dozen of each soap scent (have 7 or 8 different scents), maybe 2.5 doz of the most popular ones; 2 doz of each lotion & butter scent (will have 4-5), at least 100 lip balms (have 4 flavors), might also make salt scrubs in 2 different scents if I have time. How does that sound? Wish I'd know about this festival sooner so I'd have a few more wks to prep. I'm waiting for a response as to how many other b&b vendors will be participating, I know there will be a total of 160 artisans.
