My boyfriend and I close on our new home this Thursday. It is a great joy to finally be out of my parents place (and for some nasty relatives out of my life) and moving on in a new phase of my life.
But I have decided to the sake of a few things (finances being in the top 3) to not go forward on the soap making business. In an attempt to save I have cut out soap making as a possible career and as a hobby since we will be juggling two mortages for a period of time. I am also thinking of shifting jobs in an attempt to bring in more money than I currently do.
My soap office is going to be used as storage and I have also ended my soap blog. It seems silly to keep the blog going, especially with all this insanity with moving. I will also be leaving this forum since I won't have very much to say or time to say it.
I'll end this by saying I enjoyed being a part of this forum, helping those I can and learning from those above me. I hope everyone who has a business does better and better every year. I wish those who may start a business great luck in starting and maintaining it. And to hobbyists I hope you continue to gather knowledge to expand your hobby and horizons. It's been wonderful.
