Teach Soap

As the title says i have a serious question .
I was on the stall today and our trading standers came though and one of them was looking at my " smells likes " as i do alot of womens perfume .
And i asked him " is there anything wrong "
He said " you have a perfume range here with a named brand on it "
I said " its says smells like, not that it is that perfume"
He said " ok i am not the expert "
And then he left so i am not sure what to think.
But i would just like to know because i have put " smells like " would i get in trouble with the trading standers for putting that on the jars and bottles as thats how i have bought the scent that i have put in my products.
Any help would be great .

I just put "Type" on my labels.

They come to me with that name on them. And usually when I'm out and about I see the "type" used. At K-mart etc.
I know its not the real thing. But now you have me thinking I should go back and relabel..lol

Maybe I should change the names.. Keeping that log wouldn't be easy..lol

To add to this though.

I have noticed some places say[insert fragrance] Victoria secerts type..
And I can go to another site see the same fragrance same ingredients. Same name but they don't say its like Victoria's isn't that not right either?
