Teach Soap

I'm trying to explain to people the difference between homemade soap (MP & CP) and store bought soap as well as the benefits of choosing homemade over store bought. I've read that some people refer to store bought soap as detergent bars instead of soap, but I can't seem to find any truth behind this. I'm also trying to find legit info on SLS and other nasty ingredients that can be found in store bought soap, but Wikipedia isn't a reliable source. Could someone point me in the direction as to where I can find clear, reliable info?

I've had a lot of people say they prefer a bar of soap that produces a lot of lather and that they associate lather/bubbles with a quality bar of soap. I want to let them know that my soaps don't contain any SLS, but my MP is a quality bar of soap (I use SFIC).
