Teach Soap

I started my business a few months ago.

But you would swear I've been in business since my 13 year old was born.
She has been begging me for flyers to take to her school. So to sweet talk her teachers I made them up a few baskets. And sent her to school with flyers yesterday.
Today she came home with 25 bucks and orders. And another 28 bucks coming tomorrow! Its so cute she is so proud of herself. She is turning into my little advertisement.
She gets half the profit though for her hard work.
One of her teachers even told her she could chat with the students ONLY when the classroom door was closed and if the kids are finished with their work. She says they swarm her desk!
On the phone tonight confirming orders she sounded like a young business woman! One girl ordered 10 lip glosses! How in the world did my daughter talk her into that one! One boy (must have a crush on her) ordered Lotion for himself! He wanted the same scent the teacher got. Cucumber Melon. And of course for his mom he ordered Japanese Cherry Blossom.
Lenee (dd) made everything for them herself.(Of course supervised) Called and fixed orders for things like single scent votive and such. Talked them into other fragrances. She ran me out of Hair and body Mist!
She is good.. Really good!

I'm so proud of her.

Just thought I would share a story about my little blooming business woman. I thought it was cute!

Ahh, I think its great. I didn't even ask her to do this. She just took it on herself. So I'm letting her have fun with it!

My little adventure also includes my mom! Kinda the whole family is in on it some way or another. Dad builds whatever we need. Hubby and brothers set up our displays and takes them down. Packs them up and hauls the loads for us. My kids do most of the selling. I just sit back and answer questions when needed.

Its cute to watch them sell things. My oldest runs around with her calculator while the middle one bags and sells.
But we will see how long this lasts!

I think it's great - they are learning important business skills! And sounds like you're setting a good example! That is so nice to see!
