I am considering filing for a business license in WA, I wanted to know if anyone had any issues with the paper works. I'll be doing business from home. Any tips on filling the paper works. Nerve racking just thinking making it "official."

From reading their fee sheets, it cost $20 to file, is that correct?

I'm not in Washington so I can't answer, but be sure to check with your local city & county - they may also require that you file a business license with them.

I would go to your local city hall and ask. Here in Cali, rules and regs vary from county to county.

I looked into that as well; my city requires one license and WA requires another. So just check to make sure what your city requires. But yeah, WA fee is cheap.

Yes, the fees are dirt cheap. I was surprised myself. I'm just stress with the whole process. haha. I am in Seattle, so I would have to looking to it.

When you file for your business online in WA it applies for both your city and state license all at once. Basically, one form does it all. It's super easy! When I called my city office they pretty much just said, "file for the state, they'll send us a copy and we have time to respond if there's an issue."
