Wondering if anyone else has the same problem I do?

After watching just a few of the Soap Queen TV clips on the blog & YouTube, I can't get that techno/piano tune out of my head. I hear it when I'm sitting at home reading...I hear it when I'm at work in my cube....I hear it when I'm driving.

MAKE IT STOP.

Granted, I'm not complaining about the tune itself- it's rather pleasant, and I think a good pick for the segments. It's just that it's so catchy, it will not go away. I've even tried the suggestion of listening to The Ramones' "I wanna Be Sedated." (It has a reputation for getting any other song out of your head.) It does not work.

I have to honestly say, this is the only problem I have with Soap Queen. I love her segments, and I love that she includes the out-takes at the end. I've learned quite bit- and will continue to watch, and continue to be tormented by the tune.....

Hilarious! I can't say the tune is stuck in my head, but every time I watched a Soap Queen video, and that music starts, I get that old "head for the dance floor" impulse in my middle aged bones - a flashback to the 1980's. Very much like the mixes introducing a new dance set at the clubs I went to!

ETA: "Better Off Alone (Remix)" by Alice Deejay, from Best of Club Hits, Vol. 1.....

Totally sounds like the inspiration for the Soap Queen music...
