Jilly, I treat spiders the same way when they are in the house. I know they are "good" mostly, but please be good outside.

Put a dab of black salve on them. If you don't have black salve, put a dab of toothpaste (not gel) on them. If you don't have toothpaste, use a baking soda and water paste. It will help.

Copycat Soapbuddy!! You saw the pic of my foot with the two spider fang marks in it and felt left out? You're better than me though. I just shrugged and thought, "Well, I'm still alive so I guess it wasn't a poisonous one..." LOL 8)

For everyone else (I posted it on FB), I woke up last week with the following give-away:

We're coming into summer, yet still getting lots of rain, so the spiders are practically breaking down the doors to get inside. Yes, including hand sized hunstmans - I have to check my corners every time I enter my bedroom - damn hole in the flywire. Woke up with a sore foot... guess there was an extra friend in the bed over night...

Looks similar to mine, but we don't have the same kind of spiders here like you do. Only tarantulas, black widows and brown recluse spiders.

But if a brown recluse bites your hand, you might lose your hand - - or die.

I am not a fan of spiders (bugs of any sort indoors, except my 2-legged 6 y.o.).
