I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I keep an eye on the scent review board just in case someone posts one, but so far nada! Others have said they liked certain vendors' gardenia, but they always say that it is not like a real gardenia either. One day I am going to break down and order the one I put the link up for and just to see. It's the only one I've ever read real good reviews on.

LL, I checked the site you posted, but do not see any reference to how it holds up in CP soap. Since it is alittle costly... maybe would be best reserved for my sugar cubes or lotion bars. I am pondering it.

I have the plain Gardenia FO from WSP and it smells very close to pure. I haven't made soap with it yet because my daughter wants to make soap with it when she visits in a few weeks.

A little of both! What is wrong with having a flower in ones hair while sporting a leather jacket? I tried the gardinia from WSP but it did not live up to my standards.... I am now thinking with all this talk that I should visit a flower shop and get me a real one.... and then I stop at Wilson's leather shop and all of my scent addictions will be ok for awhile

Bubbles, I was remembering just how well the white of the gardenia looked against the black of the leather jacket I used to wear! So I get ya! I did notice that it didn't give a use review for soap, but since it said that it was made from all eo's, it made me think that it would be fine. Still, it is a pretty big splurge for an uncertainty. That would be why it is still on my "someday maybe" list Let me know if you ever go for it, and I will do the same!

You got a deal on that one! Maybe some of the overtime I am working this week should be devoted to that splurge! Or I could wait to see if the SOAP panel comes up with something. I want to make lilac soap today, but I think I need a nap first.... just 20 minutes - I promise!

I did get 30 min in and then took the dog for a long walk, then made 'googy bars' for a dinner tonoc and then made the lilac soap. It was a full evening. So I back to looking at that site you gave me.... it is calling my name.

Glad you got your nap and a nice walk! It was raining here all day, so no walking outside. Besides that, it's too dreary to even want too!

What a coincidence, I made lilac soap last night too! Of course the soap gremlins decided to mess with my still recovering self, and I ended up clumping it into the mold, after it turned to pudding in seconds. All hopes of a nice, pretty swirl! dashed, I then spilled a large clump on the counter. Too bad I wasn't being video taped, that would have been a good comedy scene. Me trying to get the clumps into the mold.

I keep dreaming of the gardenia too. I so want to smell that oil! We really need smell-a-vision! I can't believe they haven't developed this yet!
