I'm still trying to decide whether to print my own labels (with the attendant costs for waterproof labels, ink, and software) or to have a professional print the labels. I'd rather have a professional do the printing, but I think I'd get sunk by printer's minimum orders, especially considering that I'd need fewer labels of any one type, but many different ones (I make not only mp soap, but lotions, bath fizzies and scrubs). On the other hand, every time I price printer cartridges I want to cry. This is not my favorite part of the show!

You can always design and print your own color labels on your inkjet and then take them to an office supply store to have them copied on a laser printer. It may be a little more expensive than having them printed by a printer, but you just copy the quantity you need and cut them at home, rather than having to order say 500 sheets of labels to get a bargain.

jkmcreative, You summed up what is happening to me, perfectly. I am driving myself crazy trying to think of a name with a logo.
I take the dogs for a walk and everything I see becomes a potential name! Someone says something to me and uses a term. I think that might be a good name. I CAN'T STAND IT!! Some days I think "simple & elegant". Then the next day, I think "homey & cute"! This name is going to be with me a long time!

You are right. I need to put it aside and let it go for awhile.

A name was easy, but that logo - your right it can drive one crazy. Then I thought and realized that since I do this as a hobby, just for relatives and friends, who cares if I constantly change that logo or even have one? Who knows maybe one day something will strike me as "thats me" and it will be born. Until then I will maintain - "I am woman" and I have the right to change my mind!
