Teach Soap

Thanks for the encouragement! Right now soapmaking is a hobby for me, and I only do m&p because I am still reading and learning about everything else. I decided to do a craft show in April, so I'll see what kind of demand is out there. I don't think we have any local soap makers in my area, with the exception of a co-worker who started about the same time as me. Maybe it will be popular enough at the craft fair for me to consider pursuing it on a larger scale.

I'm glad for this board because I've already learned so much! I love seeing other peoples crafts and displays, and love to hear about small business success!

I don't know how much actual business I get from my fan page, it's kind of hard to determine that! But I think it's a good way to gain "word of mouth" advertising, especially if you have some friends on FB that are raving fans.

I've gotten some new fans who are friends of friends, but I also put my fan page on my business cards that go out to every customer.

What a nice idea! Likes are great and seem to generate more likes. Mine's in my signature.
