Teach Soap

I had all these plans about making soaps, working out an idea rolling around in my head. Of course that means that my Mom (who lives next door) comes over and kidnaps me early on. While we were out we came across something that I just had to have. I only picked up one today and the other will come home tomorrow. I was literally doing a happy dance in the truck.



This is Buster, we are bringing his sister home tomorrow and are going to call her Coco

Sorry I just had to share, and this site is about as close as I get to a social life these days.

Soap Blog:

The guy that was selling him is 79 years old and has gotten to a point where he knows he can't care for them the way he wants to. Poor guy had cancer in his face (probably from chewing tobacco) and had parts of his jaw removed on one side of his face. We could barely understand him talking. If tyou have ever seen one of those pictures of an OLD cowboy with wrinkled skin and sunken cheeks...That was this guy. I know he was stressed about having to sell the horses, but knows we will take good care of them. Best of all-he uses the same Vet that we do for our goats and my mom's horses.

We pick up his sister today, she is only 4 months old and is as wild as a march hare. So we are getting some help with her from my sil who is somewhat of a horse expert and works with habitat for horses.

well we were able to get his sister trailered without the drama of yesterday and she is comfortable with her brother right now. As soon as this rain passes over I will get a photo of her. She is soooo cool. On one of her sides she has the profile of Nefertitti
