Teach Soap

Wow. I stepped out for a minute, and when I came back I see all the new faces. I thought for a minute that I had signed into the wrong forum or something...but I can see that the familiar faces are still here.
To all that have joined the forum since May, ... Welcome!
Now I need to get busy gathering supplies for a major soaping day because my "Man Soap" shelves are empty and I had to shower with Cherry Blossom scented soap this morning.
SueW has some explaining to do as to where all my guy soaps went.

Dave smells like a girl! hehe

I think my husband would shower with shampoo before using a girlie soap, would depend on the girlie scent I suppose. I think he'd steal my fresh snow soap no problem, though it is clearly girlie with its pretty pale purple swirls. Right?

I saw a soap shop on Plumb Island selling a "Man Can" which was literally a paint can filled with CP soap. I guess you build up a lather on top of the cake in the can and then rub it on your body.

I have explaining to do.... well, I did not go away for 6 weeks and NOT make any "man soap". Lady Soapers.... IS Soapy Clean, Plumeria, Lemon Grass "Man Soap"???? If it is, I am guilty as charged. If it isn't - Dave W has some explaining to do ...... he should have taken my advice and made the soap BEFORE he left...it would have been nice to come back to

(His Castile soap is WONDERFUL!) I did tease him about using the girlie soap .... what can I say.... I use deer tallow soap from my deer that he makes for me - not very girlie I know.... I guess we are even. We do need more of the lemon grass! That is a wonderful bar of soap!

Good to hear 'the rest of the story' Sue! And no those are not "man" soaps given that leather is my favorite scent. I am on your side he should have prepared for this!

I agree with you about the lemongrass - it's one of my faves too. I like it blended with mint.

I made a soap scented with Lemongrass and Rosemary.. both male and female people like it. and its good scent for both sexes. at least that's my thought and I'm sticking to it. LOL

Geez....it's a good thing I wasn't looking for any sympathy around here. I am perfectly content with smelling like a girl for now. It sure beats smelling like a goat!
