I don't sell so I don't use Twitter for that but I do use Twitter. You can promote your Twitter account on Facebook or you can add it to your business cards...basically anywhere you promote in general. Are you familiar with how it works? If not, I would go ahead and register your account to at least save your business name. Then get on there and try it out. The Twitter version of "Like" is called "Follow". You find people that you want to follow and click on the Follow button. A lot of times, I get notifications that some small business or entrepreneur is following me and I think they are finding me via someone other business that I follow. They can go to that business, look at the list of people who are following them....then click on each person and follow them. (Confused yet?)
Whenever I get someone following me, I at least go and check them out. If it's something that interests me, I'll follow them. If I decide I don't really like their Twitter updates, I can easily unfollow.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'll do my best next time to answer without sounding as confusing as I do this time.
