Teach Soap

I slept in, dropped off mine and a friend's applications for a local farmers' market the last Saturday of each month from now until October at the post office, visited with some friends/former co-workers, went to Walmart.

Then I got home from Walmart, where I spent the next FIVE AND A HALF HOURS cleaning up the mess that results when one of my gimungous dogs drags a pound bag of activated charcoal off the counter and drops it from about counter height!!!!!!

There was charcoal EVERYWHERE!

(On the other hand, I did find a couple of nifty display pieces at Walmart! )

I do feel much older now.

Happy belated birthday! The good news is, it'll be a year before the next one!
We used to have an English Setter that got into our pantry one day while I was at work. When I came home there was flour, sugar, cormeal and macaroni everywhere! It looked like he took the packages and tossed them up into the air a bunch of times to be sure he got all the surfaces covered (including the paddle fan!) I didn't think I was ever going to get it out of the carpet.
