Hi everyone, I want to know what is a good mold making product. I have tried the Amazing Mold Putty and didn't like that one at all. I also tried the Mold Builder and I hated that one. Is there a mold maker that's not so expensive that is good for making resin?

I'm experimenting with things because I want to get some molds for my soap.
When I tried that Mold Builder, I sprayed that mold release in it, then I poured resin in it and the two got stuck together. With the Amazing Mold Putty I have noticed that not all the detailed work on the piece you are molding shows on the mold when you use that stuff. Can someone please help me on that. Thank You.

There is nothing out there that's not expensive. The 2 part mixing mold works, but it's expensive. If you don't mix right, or pour a certain way you will get air pockets. It's not easy.
