Teach Soap

I started my soap business in June and have been selling a few bars here and there via word of mouth since I didn't have the time to get involved with our farmers market this summer. I'm excited because my church is having their HUGE annual yard/bake sale the first weekend in September and I'm donating 75 bars of soap, which I hope will get my soap out into the community, and raise some money for the church at the same time. I'll have business cards to be included with each sale so that people can call me to order more if they want. I won't be present at the sale. Is there anything that I should put on the table aside from a sign stating that the soaps have been donated by me and the business cards? Thanks!

You can put some brochures telling about yourself and company if you have any, or a sign in a clear standing frame with a brief description of the same if you do not have a brochure. Not really sure what else would help. I tried once not being there when my soaps were and I did not like it. No one can explain your product like you can I am sure it will be fine, and it is a very nice thing you are doing!

Which I know you pro'lly already know

Love the brochure idea though. With handmade stuff I know I like getting a bit of the "story" behind the product. Makes it memorable.
