What a fun morning!!

I have a new cp soap recipe that I wanted to make this morning, and I'm low on mp for my Farmer's Market tomorrow. So I decided to both...

I measure out the hard oils, and put them on to melt - mixed the lye, then - while they were cooling, I set up the new (used - but new for me!) stainless steel outdoor sink that hubby found for me in the want ads for $60! It has a large drainboard/side tray attached, so that became my working/mixing shelf.

Oils are still cooling, so I cut up my blend of mp bases and put them in the double boiler to melt.
Then, while that is melting - back outside to mix the cp. Hubby put a slider thingy (like you use to control the speed of a fan) on my stick blender, so I can turn it down to a manageable roar.

Mix and pour the cp, cover it with plastic, then back inside to stir in the additives to the melt and pour - new fun mould to try, too.

Did I mention that in the middle of all of this - 3 candle customers dropped by to pick up an order?
