Teach Soap

I have read about soap pins. And I don't think I ever saw one before.I don't mean to be stupid but what are these?

I just googled soap pins, because I've never heard of them either. This is what came up:

I've seen soap in the shape of diaper pins. I have no idea otherwise.

So is a soap pin just a pin that advertises your soap? From the way it reads on the list I thought that maybe it was something that went into your soap, like a sign or something....

I am wondering if it is like one of those floral or photo sticks that you can stick a note into. So it would describe that type of soap, or the fragrance. Or even just list the name of the soaps in the stack under it.
If I was at a farmers market, craft fair I don't think I would want a pin to advertise soap from a certain booth. If you wanted to give handouts, give me a sample of your lotion, or a sliver of your soap to use when I go to the restroom.

Bubbles, that's kind of what I was thinking to begin with. From what A-M wrote, that would make sense, but I am not sure that I would want to stick a pin in my soap either, although I guess the hole would be small.....I dunno, I'm with you though on not wanting to wear a pin from a particular soaper. It would have to be a really cute pin, with a very little brand name on it, and, as you said, a piece of soap or something else would be much better.

Some of the photo holder ones come with a base that will stand on the table or on top of a pile of soap. The florist ones would leave a large hole in a bar of soap. They could be stuck into a container of clay to hold them up. I would love to work at a farmers market (at someone else's booth) but alas I have to work every weekend

Working every weekend sucks! So sorry for you! You are right about the picture holders, and they come in very cute styles, but when you need a lot, it isn't cheap either. I have some and have used them at shows in the past, but I needed more and the price had gone up too much. I have also used some garden pics that you write your flower or seed name, and used them to write the scents on. I just stuck them in the sides of the baskets or wedged them into/around other products, but not the soap.
