Teach Soap

I started making soap in order to help a friend who was unemployed. She never made one bar but I became addicted. By a chance meeting I found out my childhood best friend was making bath and body products. A few months ago i taught her to make soap and I have to say my student is doing well.

She came over with a small box filled with three different types of soap. A lavander, blueberry and another. Just through sheer trial and error on her own, I was really proud of her results. I jumped in the shower with her blueberry bar and it was dead-on in scent , bubbles and mild cleansing. She said she was good cause she had a good teacher

you guys would have laughed so hard when she cried at her first soap on a stick, I know this sounds mean but she was a real tough kid in our childhood.

I just have to give credit where credit is due, I learned nearly everything from these forums, then I've met at least 4 heavy duty soaping comrades in real life. We share lye, oils, fo's and business info, it's the most supportive hobby I could ever imagine.
