I'm so sorry that happened to you!
We really have not been able to figure out exactly why it happens. The instances seem to be few and far between and we haven't been able to find any rhyme reason to the problem. We have our web designers working on it but they haven't been able to replicate the problem, which makes tracking it down pretty tricky.
We think that sometimes it happens when you add things to your cart and then you log in to your account, as opposed to logging into your account first and then loading up your shopping cart. But if you were moving things from your wishlist to your cart - I think you have to be logged in to do that. So there goes that theory!
