How do i clean off the beeswax and sunflower oil from pyrex? I bought a lipgloss making kit from michaels and attempted to make it. Its not a very good quality. I tried putting it in my lips and its not even gliding. I need to clean the beeswax of pyrex before my hubby wakes up, he will be upset i used his cook ware! Please help!

Pyrex should hold up in the oven. I would put it in a low oven til it melts, then wipe it all off with a dry paper towel. Then take a paper towel to which you added a little bit of oil and wipe it down one more time. Then you should be able to put it in the dishwasher or wash it by hand at the sink. It will be HOT, so use mitts or gloves and put the pyrex down on a stable, heat resistant surface.

I do things the lazy way, sink of hot soapy water, rinse through and throw everything in the dishwasher. Seems to work with CP and balms. Can't be doing with all this hard work!!!

if the layer is not that thick, i've been able to melt it in the microwave.
