I made a solid lotion yesterday. I have never used one so I'm not sure about this. I thought it would glide over my skin but it drags. Is this right or did I make it wrong. I used 1 oz. beeswax, 1oz. meadowfoam oil and 1/2 oz of shea butter and 1/2 oz. of cocoa butter. I heated the oil and melted the butters and wax in the warmed oil. Then put it in the fridge for a couple hours. It has been sitting at room temp since last night so it is not too cold. What do you think?

With that much beeswax & hard butter is why it's draggy. You can drop the beeswax down a bit and see if that helps. If not, try dropping the cocoa butter a bit as well. Just keep experimenting from there.

That's a lot of beeswax and cocoa butter. I would add a small amount of a liquid oil like almond or apricot kernel oil.

Be careful with the almond oil. Someone with nut allergies could have a problem.
