I was going through the threads and came across one thread that had a good post in it about what kind of soap to sell at a craft show. It listed by a regular user that said something about foral/citrus or something to that effect. If anyone can point me or post it the right thread. that wouold be helpful. thanks. Melissa PS I search the forums but to no luck. I thought the list would be a good way to organize my soaps. not planning on selling.

15 & under is good. Too many and it's way too overwhelming for the customers to choose.

I usually stick to these scent categories when doing shows.
2 manly scents
3 floral/citrus scents
3 food/drink scents
2 woodsy/earthy scents
2 spa/herbal scents
and then if it's a holiday fair, 3 scents that fit the holiday

I'm hoping that my soaps sell fast enough to not "overwhelm" the customers! I have 3100 so far, and plan to make another 2000 (approximately). I'm making whatever suits my fancy at the moment and plan to narrow it down for the next festival. This festival gets 60,000 - 80,000 people coming through the doors. My thoughts are if 3% of the people (using the mid-point of 70,000) by 2 bars of soap -- that's 4200 bars! The way I'm narrowing it down is by categories of: Fragrance with Color, Fragrance Free with Color, Fragrance and Color Free, Organic. If I have time, I'll add "Little Soaps".

All my soaps have either Shea Butter or Mango Butter in them.

Since this will be my very first show, I plan to have all my FOs and types on a Master List for myself and check mark which ones sell. Then I will narrow it down for the next festival.

If I had seen this post sooner -- much sooner -- I might have done things differently! I do have male scents, floral scents, citrus scents, food scents and nature scents. It'll be interesting to say the least (the festival is in May). Thanks for the info . . . albeit, too late for me for this time!
