Teach Soap

My main soap recipe contains approx. 25% soybean oil. Several of my customers' children have soy allergies. For these types of people I make castile soap, but would the regular soap really break them out? Its not like I can brainstorm with my customers. They just want to give me money for something that will help their kids , but I do wonder. Hey, here's a thought. One of my customers told me that she has to be careful about who she buys milk from because most people use soy feed and this too bothers her children. I feed my goats soy feed, they use the soap made from it and it has improved their condition... any thoughts?

Could be that goats have different enzymes to dismantle the soy feed. I've never heard of a cow gnawing on a tin can...

I've never heard of a goat gnawing on one either. However, the same thing comes to mind for me. I know that if goats browse on poison oak and a person drinks the milk, the poison is not transferred to the human. Though, what I'm really wondering with regard to the oil in soap is if the protein that is present in the whole soy is still present in the hydrogenated oil.

I would think that any protein in the milk would get saponified.
