Teach Soap

I have a chunk of soap I made in a CP class about a year ago but it was ugly. So I shoved it in a bag and threw it in the back of the cupboard. I've just rediscovered it and am wondering if I could rebatch it. Would it be too old?

I don't see why not. The Miller soap site has a page on rebatching:

From what I've read, it may be harder to grate a cured soap, and you might have to add more liquid to soften it up so you can stir it around a bit. Disclosure: I have only rebatched a soap a few days old.

You could also chop it up and use it as embeds in a new soap.

No problem. One more thing: don't expect a nice, smooth consistency in the final soap. Its is hard to achieve because the batter is thick. Think "rustic" or make soap balls with your hands.
