Teach Soap

We met friends for coffee at waffle house and the male half of the couple presented me with a wonderful wood soap mold he made for me... 11 x 11 x 3. I was floored. It is well made and even has a lid. I thought this was very thoughtful when he announced he is also working on a loaf mold for me. So I went to my Jeep (where I always make sure to have a small quantity of product before I leave home) and grabbed four bars of soap and a jar of whipped body butter for his wife and gave them to him. Then they ordered 8 gift baskets of product for xmas gifts.

I will get a pic of the mold tomorrow when I use it.

Lucky you! I love that you keep soap with you at all times too--you're always prepared!

I know isn't that sweet? I am still somewhat stunned by the unsolicited thoughtfulness...bless his heart. He even made the top at 11 1/8" which is a mere 1/8" wider than the bottom so it would be easier to remove the soap. I thought that was very sweet.

It is habit to grab some product before I leave home...I enjoy giving away a bar here and there. Plus I have made some great sales because the subject came up and I had it right there to sell.

Here is a quick pic of it before I line it for the batch I just have to make to try it out. hehehehehe DH just rolled his eyes when I proclaimed "I have just got to try the new mold...shaving soap dear?" As if the man needs more...he could shave for a year on what he already has in his vanity closet. LOL




Any excuse to soap right? Besides I have to replace the soap going in the gift baskets my friends ordered right? Yeah that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Very cool!! And awesomely throughful for him to make the bottom a bit bigger to make it easier to get out.
