Hi everyone. I am very new to this so this may be a silly question. I am finding all the oils that I need except for Palm Oil. It is in almost every recipe that I find but I can not find it. What should I be looking for? Thank you.

Hi Amy,
I use lard to replace palm oil in recipies. Lard actually make a really nice soap. I do think that BB also has Palm Oil for sale on their site.

Thank you for your replies. I can find lard, olive, and coconut oil at Walmart. Will I be able to find palm kernel there also? Also do you mind sharing your basic recipe for those three oils? Thank you so much!

What is the difference between palm oil and palm kernel oil? Is one significantly better than the other?
